Our beautiful baby girl...

Tessa is such a good baby. She has been pretty mellow so far. She doesn't cry very often- I wonder how long that will last? She is so sweet and precious and I am completely in love with her! Look at those cheeks- how could you not love them?
Her brothers already love her so much. They all fought over who got to hold her. They all had to take several turns holding her. She is going to be one spoiled little girl!

We have had a lot of visitors who are spoiling her too...

She looks like a mix of Traysen and Talen's baby pictures. She has a pretty dark complexion right now- hopefully it will last. I say that she has a great mullet going on because she has quite a bit of hair in the back but not nearly as much on the top~ thank goodness for bows and headbands :)

I said that Tessa already has daddy wrapped around her finger but I was lying... she has ALL of us wrapped around her finger!

Hopefully these pictures are a little better than yesterday's because she is so cute and I think these pictures aren't doing her justice! Thanks for all the sweet remarks from everyone. We are so blessed to have such great family who has been so willing to help us out with our boys while we are here in the hospital. We love you- thanks a ton!!!

Our Baby Girl is Here!!

Our not so little baby has finally arrived! We got to the hospital at 5 a.m.- bright and early! As if I could have slept at all last night! Tessa Marie weighs 7 lb 10 oz and is 20 1/4" long and was born at 7:28 a.m. Holy Cow!!! She is huge! I knew she would be big because I was a lot bigger than I was with Talen. She is so adorable though. She seems that she may already have a feisty little personality. She didn't love getting her picture taken at all so we don't have many great pictures of her yet. As soon as she is a little more cleaned up we will get some better pictures.
Talen is in love with his new baby sister! Aunt Meisha brought him to visit her and the older boys will come visit after school sometime later this evening.

Can you believe that huge baby was inside of me? I felt so big towards the end of my pregnancy and I hurt so bad- now I know why... 7lb 10 oz!!!!!!

We will post some better pictures later- but right now we feel very blessed that she is finally here and she is healthy!

Happy Anniversary!

Ed and I have been married for 11 years! Time has sure flown by! I feel so lucky to be married to my best friend. He is such an awesome dad and such a good husband! He's been very patient with me during this pregnancy. I'm sure he can't wait until it's all over so I will quit whining to him but at least he never tells me that.

We spent our anniversary day- buying a new car! We got a Yukon XL. I feel like I'm driving a bus so hopefully I'll get used it. Even though it's not much bigger than the Tahoe it sure feels huge. At least we'll be able to comfortably fit all four kids now with room in the back so we can travel or even go grocery shopping. After getting the car we went to dinner and a movie. Ed was so sweet he even let me see a chick flick without complaining once! We saw Dear John. I was disappointed because it didn't follow the book as closely as I hoped but it was still good.

I am so blessed! During the last 11 years we have: moved twice, had 9 cars, 2 trailers, 3... almost 4 kids, and tons of fun times. I love you ED! Can't wait for the rest of our lifetime together!!!

Eviction Notice!

EVICTION NOTICE Date: February 17, 2010

To: Miss Tessa Marie

To the above tenant in possession of below described premises:

I am issuing an 8 day notice for EVICTION. You will have 8 days in which you can either gather your belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, you will be physically removed from the property.

You are being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

After 8 days from this day that you don't comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at my discretion.

** I read this somewhere- and it's exactly how I feel right now! I am SO ready to have this baby. The baby is cooked as my timer (belly button) has popped so let's get this show on the road... 8 more days, just 8 more days. I keep telling myself that!

Project for baby...

My mom came over to my house on Saturday and we made- THIS! I love it! I think it's SO cute. Okay- I actually didn't do much because I am totally not a seamstress. I helped my mom measure and cut and that's about it- oh I also made the bows, but other than that she did it all. I can't wait to use it! Thanks so much mom- I'm so happy that it turned out so cute- I love it!!!

Talen's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Talen! Our big boy is now FIVE years old. He will be starting kindergarten in the fall and is such a joy to have in our home! His day started off with a visit from the balloon fairy. The moment I went in to wake him up on his "big day" he stood up on his bed and said "I feel taller mom- I just know I'm bigger." It was so cute!
He's so proud of the fact that he's now FIVE! Woo Hoo!!!

Talen got a new big bike, some lego's, a harmonica, some work books and some other small things. He loved it all! Poor kid now has to wait for the snow to melt to ride his new bike!

He did NOT want a cake- he wanted cupcakes so he got his wish!

Talen is such a loving child. He literally kisses me and hugs me a hundred times a day (and I love every minute of it because I know it won't last long). He is so excited to be a big brother! He kisses my belly several times a day and talks to his baby sister all the time. He is very funny and smart. He has really taken off lately on his reading and writing skills. He constantly asks how to spell words and loves to draw us pictures with little notes written on them. He is way easy going unless you tick him off- then you better watch out! He is really well behaved and I can take him anywhere because he is so good! He is my doctor buddy- he has to get dragged to all of my doctor appointments lately and he is an awesome sport about it! He is so sweet and we love him to pieces!! Happy Birthday little man!

Tegen's Birthday

Happy Birthday Tegen! I can't believe that my oldest child is already TEN! Where have the years gone? The balloon fairy came to rain down balloons on him during his sleep which is our family tradition... he is buried somewhere under that red blanket...
This is the loot he got... A new dirt bike helmet, a rip stick, a camel pack for water and a couple of other small things.

Blowing out all TEN candles... Happy birthday to you!

Tegen is such an important part of our family. We love him so much. He brings a smile to my face every day. He is getting so big with each passing year... It makes me kind of sad to watch my baby grow up so fast. He is very intelligent, highly motivated, funny, loving, playful, awesome at math and reading, a great big brother and an all around good kid. We love you buddy!
