Halloween

It was such a nice Halloween this year. The kids didn't have to run through the rain or worse trudge through the snow thank goodness! Tessa was an adorable little BSU cheerleader.
Traysen was a football player again- wow what a surprise!
Tegen chose to be a football player too... a football player with attitude!

Talen as usual did his own thing completely. He didn't want to be a football player or a cheerleader (ha ha! thank goodness) so he was Darth Vader. And I must say of all the cheesy costumes I've bought over the years this was my favorite.

They seriously loaded up on candy. Oh well I guess that's to be expected, right? At least they got a couple of toothbrushes from dentists too :) Happy Halloween!!!

Tessa is 8 months old!

We sure love this kid! She is 8 months old and getting so much personality. She is absolutely adorable!

Here she was exhausted and fell asleep in her jumper. She would wake up for a minute and bounce then her head would just fall forward because she was so tired. He he he! It was so cute to me- I love it!

For her very first Halloween she was rockin' a cute little BSU cheerleader outfit- go Bronco's!

What a cute pair!
She got her very first little "paintbrush" ponytail. She looks SO old in this picture!
At eight months she is starting to get pretty mobile. She isn't crawling yet- at least not on her tummy but she sure can book it all over the place on her back. She finally rolls all the time now. It took her a while but I think she's got it! She still loves to eat everything but veggies are still her favorite and she is starting to love fruits more and more each day. She loves baby yogurt too. She is starting to eat baby snacks and really enjoys them. She doesn't have any teeth yet so she isn't getting anything too chunky or solid yet. She SHOULD be sleeping through the night every night but has episodes of waking up to eat a bottle every now and then. But seriously? look at that face how can we get mad? She LOVES her crib too! She far prefers to sleep in her crib than anywhere else. I wish she would cuddle a little bit more but she's too focused on everything going on around her. She loves her tongue too. She is always sticking it out, almost like she's trying to lick the air. It's pretty cute I must say! She is also starting to show a little bit of feistiness. She will throw a fit every once in a while but it's usually only when we take something away from her. She's mostly a relatively calm, happy, content little baby but I have the feeling it will eventually be "watch out" when she gets mad at someone. We all still adore her and she pretty much rules the roost around here! There is nothing better than loving my kids. All four of them are pretty darn special I think!

Halloween Piano Recital

Tegen and Tray had a Halloween themed piano recital. It was fun and different! Everyone dressed up and played "spooky" songs. I didn't get as many good pictures as I would have liked. Ed was out of town and I was trying to videotape, use the regular camera and hold a baby. Sorry boys! I didn't get any pictures of them at all while they were playing their pieces because I was videotaping them- darn it!
Each boy got an award but oops! I didn't get a picture of Tray receiving his award.
Their piano teacher also teaches several of their friends so I got a picture of the whole group of friends/students.
Talen and his buddy Alex posing for the camera. They're pretty good sports about being dragged to every game/recital/activity that their older brothers participate in.

What cute kids!

This is my pathetic attempt at taking some pictures of the kids- yes, as you can see it didn't really work out for me. Even though they weren't really cooperating they're still pretty dang cute anyway!

!

Pumpkin Time!

On Ed's birthday we went to get pumpkins with our friends. I didn't know the church farm sold pumpkins- it was so easy. We went to the little warehouse and got to pick out our pumpkins and they were only ONE DOLLAR each. Amazing! The kids had fun because they were with all their friends!
For some reason my camera took a really dark picture but it wasn't really that dark in there.
Two days before Halloween we let the boys carve their pumpkins. Tegen and Tray did theirs ALL by themselves this year. Every year we make pumpkin seeds and the boys love them! Ed- not so much though :)

Of course I forgot to take a picture of all of them by their pumpkins- oops!

The Condo

Tegen's football team had a game in Driggs on October 2nd at 8:30 a.m. We would have had to leave our house by 6:00 a.m. to be there on time so we decided to stay in a condo for the weekend with a bunch of friends who also had sons playing in the game. We went with the Taylor's, Nebeker's and Belnap's. We always have such a fun time together. This was the guys all making breakfast for everyone. Thanks boys!

Overview from the loft...
When we all get together there is 15 kids! We were only missing one baby in this picture.

All of the adults...
On Sunday we went for a drive to Grand Targhee ski resort just to walk around and let the kids burn off some energy. I'm sure we look like quite the group when we go anywhere together. I think restaurants cringe when we all walk in the door :)

It was a gorgeous fall weekend and we could not have asked for better weather. The kids all had a blast There is never any fighting which is amazing for that many kids. Someone is always bound to feel like the 3rd wheel but they all get along great! The scenery was beautiful and it was such a fun weekend! I'm always thankful for good friends! Oh yea- and our boys totally slaughtered the other team- it was the perfect weekend!
