I don't know if anyone gets sick of reading these tags or not. Sorry if you do! This one may be a bit embarrassing... well here goes....

6 Unspectacular Quirks About Me....

1. I am obsessed with chap stick. I cannot go anywhere without it. I love the green mint kind by Chapstick. If I don't have chapstick I seriously feel like I am going to freak out. I love the green mint kind, but I have been trying to be adventurous lately and I've bought some other brands of chapstick's and lip glosses. What a dare devil I am... ha ha!

2. I am a very anal/ OCD person. I like everything to be exactly right. When I fold towels they have to be folded perfectly and the corners all have to be lined up. I have to place them in the cupboard so that they are perfectly lined up against the edge.

3. It's not only towels.... I do this to underwear too. Strange- I know! I have to fold Ed's t-shirts so that they are a certain way and the bottoms have to be a certain way and they have to be put in the drawer a certain way. I do it with mine too. Ed used to mess up his drawer all the time so I once stuck my hand in the drawer and swirled everything around just to see what he would do. The next time I put something in that drawer it was all fixed back perfectly and has looked great ever since!

4. I hate to go in public if my kids aren't dressed nicely. I have had some people tell me that I care too much what other people think about me, but that's not it at all. It's more that I just can NOT stand for my kids to look dirty and mismatched. I know... you're probably thinking that my kids aren't always dressed that cute, but hey I try! And for some reason I really hate character clothing. I won't usually let my kids wear Spiderman, Spongebob, etc. I am a mean mom!

5. I love, love, love vacuum marks. After I have vacuumed I won't let my kids walk across the floor. I tell them they can't go in the sitting room. It's kind of mean, but I only do it for the one room, the rest I let them walk on. Okay... are you thinking that I'm totally strange yet?

6. As much as I love to have everything in order I must confess that all of my closets are not perfect. Oh I try so hard, but someone is usually walking behind me and messing them up. I feel like I have to give up control somewhere so I let it be the closets. If any of you are Friends fans out there then you will understand when I say that I have a Monica closet. It's not really that bad, but I have a hard time with them for some reason!

Okay- now you all know my strange quirks. I'm sure that the list could go on and on, but I will spare you the scary details. My close friends and my family all know how completely strange I am, but maybe for the rest of you I can put up a good front of pretending to be normal and not so OCD- ha ha!

ABC Husband Tag

This is sure different. Usually on a tag I have to answer questions about myself or my kids. This should definitely be interesting to find out more about every one's husbands!

C-Cookies or Candy? Cookies- He loves my chocolate chip cookies!

H-Hobbies? Dirt biking, snowmobiling, camping and playing with our boys

L-Last Vacation as a couple? Wait a minute- couples can go on vacation- by THEMSELVES? Hmmm... didn't know that. We'll definitely have to think of somewhere fun to go! I think we went to Vegas about 4 years ago.
M-Morning person or night owl? Morning & Night. I swear he doesn't need sleep!
N-Number of Siblings? 6 sisters & 2 brothers- yep that's right 9 kids total!
O-OCD or sloppy? Kind of messy sometimes, but I am still trying to train him! He's getting better.
P-Pet Peeves? When people gas and brake a lot while driving instead of keeping a constant speed on the highway. Have they ever heard of cruise control?????
Q-Quiet or Loud? Mostly loud- He's not shy at all!

S-Sports? Playing basketball with friends every week and dirt biking & snowmobiling
T-Tight wad or spender? He's pretty tight with money, but doesn't mind spending when we need to.
U-Unknown Fact about him? He can memorize a song after hearing it once or twice. And he remembers quotes from movies after only watching it once- it usually takes me a couple of times to remember them.
V-Vegetables? potatoes (does that count?) actually he loves most vegetables as long as he's not the one cooking them!
W-Worst Habit? Piling up dirty clothes in our room instead of walking the extra 5 feet to put them in the dirty clothes hamper... aagghhhh!!!

Y-Your favorite things about him? I am sure that everyone thinks that they have the best hubby in the world, but I truly do love him. He is very sweet to me and to our boys. We are #1 in his world and that's so nice to know. He is always helping somebody with something. Sometimes it annoys me, but I am grateful to have a husband who is so willing to serve others! He's the best!

W-Worst habit? singing completely wrong words to songs and my husband usually corrects me. I just laugh and keep singing the wrong words anyway- I think it drives him nuts!
X-X-ray or ultrasound? Probably ultrasound because it usually means you get to find out the sex of your baby! Not x-ray because it usually means you have broken something!

TAG ... WE'RE IT!

We got tagged by Tabrie and Briley and so we are supposed to list 8 things that people may or may not know about them.
Tegen:
1. Tegen is so smart that sometimes he amazes me. He brings his homework home done on most days because he says it's so easy he just does it while he is in class. I have to check it of course. He is in 2nd grade and is now obsessed with the Harry Potter books.
2. Anyone who know Tegen knows that he is obsessed with dirt bikes and has been since he was just a baby. When he was 18 months old he could name every part on a dirt bike and knew the names of all the riders and the bikes they rode. I have since become very knowledgeable on the subject (by default).
3. He is an awesome big brother. He is always worried about his little brothers and sometimes thinks that he needs to be the one to punish when they do something that he doesn't approve of. I often have to remind him that I am the mom not him!
4. He loves anything electronic: ipods, computers, gameboys, PS2, WII
5. He is totally into Pokemon right now and asked if he could buy a $58 Pokemon card on the internet. How do you explain to an 8 year old that this is a fad and it will pass?
6.We recently got a piano and he is having as much fun as me sitting down and trying to learn some new tunes (very, very easy ones of course)!
7. He rode in a dirt bike race for the first time last fall and took first place. We were so proud of him. It was a horrible, wet, muddy day and he kept on going!
8. He can't wait for summer. His uncle Cody (nicknamed Bubba by him when he was a baby) gave him a real BMX bike and he can't wait to get on it and try it out. I just now have to convince him that it can't be taken off his jump!
Traysen:
1. He is ALWAYS smiling. Since he was a small baby he has been so happy. He used to wave, smile and say hi to complete strangers at stores. He is a joy to be around.2. He is very charming. Everyone always asks me how I can possibly get mad at him because he could charm anyone! His kindergarten teacher told me so!
3. He is a great big brother to Talen. He is always helping him and trying to make him smile. Don't get me wrong- they do have their brotherly moments of fighting!
4. He is so smart. He is in Kindergarten and believes that he is the smartest kid in his class. How can I take that away from him? He was the first person in his class to pass off his skills book.
5. He would make a great gymnast. I think he is double jointed or something because he is extremely flexible for a boy. He can do the splits and bend his fingers backwards so they touch the back of his hand. It's crazy!
6. He also has great balance. He learned to ride his bicycle without training wheels when he was barely 3 years old and has been on a dirt bike since he was 4. I don't have half of the balance that my kids have.
7. He totally adores his older brother Tegen. He idolizes him and copies everything that Tegen does much to his brothers dismay. I tell Tegen it's because he loves his big brother and wants to be just like him!
8. He loves to help me around the house to earn "stars" on his chore chart. He always volunteers do things so that he can earn extra stars. I wish I could say that he was the cleanest kid in the world, but unfortunately he picks and chooses which "extra" things he's going to help with. Picking up his backpack, coat and toys don't seem to fall under that category.
Talen:
1. He is adorable! I absolutely love him. I was shocked when I found out that I would be having 3 boys since I am so girly, but I cannot imagine my life without him in it. He is adored by our whole family and is treated like the baby, hence he acts like the spoiled youngest child ALOT!
2. He is hysterical. He says the funniest things and comes up with the funniest things (like the pasty white fish). He is always saying the cutest little things.
3. He does NOT enjoy nursery! I think it has something to do with all of the small children competing for the same toys. The only way we can convince him to go is because his aunt Meisha is his nursery leader. That was definitely some divine inspiration on the bishop's part! Now he goes- and we couldn't be happier!
4.The child is obsessed with lipgloss- PINK lipgloss of all things. It does not thrill his dad, but I think it is sort of funny. Everywhere we go he asks to check out peoples purses to see if they have any pink lipgloss. Hopefully he grows out of this. It won't be cute when he is a teenager!
5. He is always putting on strange costumes. Different hats, spiderman costumes, dad's shoes etc. Nobody can ever accuse him of not having an active imagination!
6. He is a big time Momma's boy or Daddy's boy- it totally depends on the day. Somedays he only wants mom and others it's all about his dad. I do love it when he gets in bed and cuddles me in the mornings and gives me eskimo kisses and tells me he loves me. What could be better than that?
7. He is his Nanny's biggest fan. He adores her. When I take him to the office on Wednesday's with me he is absolutely devastated when she is not there. When she is there she gets nothing done because he follows her around everywhere she goes. I know she loves it though and wouldn't have it any other way!
8. He loves gum. Gum of any kind! Every time we go to a store I can convince him to be good and sit in the cart if I get him some gum. How easy to please!!!

They are the loves of my life (along with their dad) and I could not imagine spending every minute of every day with anyone else!
